Child Hugging Parent

Supervision
Supervision, sometimes called supervision contact or supervised visitation, is an arrangement where child/ren spend time with a parent or family member in the presence of an independent third party known as a Family Time Worker or Family Time Supervisor.

This setup is often court ordered (but not always) when there are concerns about a child/ren’s safety or wellbeing, or when a parent and child/ren need support to rebuild their relationship in a safe and structured way. The purpose is to protect the child/ren while still allowing them to maintain a meaningful connection with their parent or family member.

At United Moments Supervision, the Family Time Supervisor's role is to observe the interaction between child/ren and parent and record factual notes in a written report. This is done in a neutral and impartial capacity with the child’s best interests at the forefront.
